Antique Copper & Brass

These antique copper and brass items from South Asia are one-of-a-kind, rare, and hard to find pots and utensils, actually used 60 to over 100 years ago. Each piece is unique and different.

Tin plated copper was the metal of choice for utensils at that time. All these items are tin plated both inside and outside. Sometimes the tin plating on the outside has been removed with a metal brush to show the underlying copper or brass. Other times the pot has been heated in a kiln to give it a burnt copper finish.
